Medical Centre Completes Pavilions Palm Beach Health Precinct

Pavilions Palm Beach will have a healthy start to the New Year, with a new medical practice set to open its doors, joining the centre’s pharmacy, dentist & physiotherapist. Pavilions Medical Centre and Palm Beach Skin has secured a 275sqm tenancy on an eight-year lease, and will offer regular GP services in addition to medical and surgical cosmetic dermatology.
The Pavilions practice is owned by Dr Magdy Malek and Dr Sergiy Korol, who also operate other medical centers in Hervey Bay and Tweed Heads.
Dr Malek said Pavilions represented a great opportunity to join an established health precinct in a high growth area.
“The whole Pavilions centre has been upgraded, and a new medical hub has been created which we will fit right in to,” he said.
“This practice will offer a holistic approach to health, with GPs specialising in a number of areas to provide top level care for all members of the family.
“There’s increasing demand for dermatology services right across the board – from skin cancer excision through to correction of benign growths or lesions that may have a cosmetic impact.
“Palm Beach is one of the fastest growing areas on the Gold Coast and is in need of an additional practice that is co-located with complementary health services for the convenience of patients.”
Pavilions Palm Beach is owned and managed by Consolidated Properties Group, which this year completed a major redevelopment of the centre, delivering a new Coles and a range of specialty stores.
Consolidated Properties Group National Manager for Retail Leasing Rob Clifton said the addition of Pavilions Medical Centre and Palm Beach Skin was the ‘final piece of the puzzle’ for the centre’s health hub.
“It has always been our intention for Pavilions to be a destination for food, specialty retail and health, and securing a medical centre completes our line up of health care operators,” he said.
“In addition to allied health operators, we also have a number of wellness services including F45 gym, a health supplements store and nails and beauty salon.”
